Hi everyone,
While this is the weirdest thing I've heard in a looooong time, I have to let others know.
Someone came to me talking about a compatibility reading I'd done for them. Since the lingo wasn't mine, the person claimed this happened last week, and I did not recognize the case, of course I was like "What are you speaking about?"
The person claimed that she called a 1-877 number (free in the USA,) and that the person on the other end claimed she was me, and gave this person a reading. Furthermore this person called her back from a 904 area code (I live in NH, which has one area code, 603,) and she was sure she had talked to me.
I assured her we had never conversed. I checked the sites she was visiting (apparently mine, so where this number came from, I do not know,) and then promptly called the police to notify them I had a report there is someone posing as me.
If you know anyone who has called a 1-877 number and claimed to have spoken with me, please be advised this is not me. I insist on contact being intitiated by email and I am rather concerned with my own privacy to the point of some people taking it personally. If you ever get some stalkers, you might understand. ;) But, my distaste for stalkers aside, I do not have any 1-877 number, and I have lived in the state of New Hampshire in the USA for my entire natural life. If you have spoken to someone posing as me (I would have insisted you email me your number and would have called you from my home from a blocked number, as I have for years,) please let me know immediately so that I can help forward this information to the police!
Again, this is about the wildest thing I've ever heard, and only one person is saying this to me, so I am hoping it was just some nutcase with a very bad idea of trying to pretend to be me one day to someone who just called the wrong number.

You know I bet someone saw your name and didn't think that the person would be stupid enough to try and contact you again. Is your name copy written trade marked or something? If not then I would do it now.

The name of OriginalNinjaCat is copyrighted, but obviously it would be very difficult to be copyrighting the name everyone calls me by, which is Cat. ;)
