A lot of people seem confused with this, so let me try to straighten it out...
If someone is ignoring you, it's not often because they missed what you said the first time. Being ignored means "I need space, go away, back off." My personal rule is if I contact someone three times (that could be any form of contact - a wave hello, an email, a text, etc,) with no response from them, then I stop trying to contact them. If they have any interest in speaking to me again, they should know where to find me.
Cornering someone and demanding a response is not helpful - it's creepy. Leaving notes, messages and emails when you're not getting a response is also creepy. Creepy is not a good thing. If someone is not responding to you, you need to back off. All the way. People who make repeated unwelcome contact are often the ones who put themselves in situations where the other person will NEVER want to contact them again.
This rule applies to life in general as well as spellcasting. Just because you cast a spell it does not grant immunity for being rude and pushy...or even just persistant in a way you've been given the hint contact is not desired.
I know it's not super occultey knowledge, but so many seem to lack that basic understanding as of late, I suspect people need to have this reminder given to them because it is very harmful to love/recon spells (as well as most social relationships) to ingore this bit of advice.
As much as I dont want to face the fact, I got played and the result was me being ignored. Even though I was never pushy. I think Cat, it hurts and our hearts are deciding what step we take next. I just hope the lesson is learned quickly so that we can see the error of our ways and all will balance out.

It's still a bad idea to chase, to corner, and to smother a non-communicative party which is the point of the above. ;) I understand why people do what they do, but that doesn't make it not impact their situation or lives negatively.
