Hey Occulties,
Continuing on with yesterday’s discussion, we went over success rates being faulty as people often misdefine success. Furthermore, renowned experts themselves would tell you that the most expert among us would never have a 100% or even 99% success rate. Therefore it isn’t a scam just because the client/petitioner didn’t get what they wanted or did but not how they wanted. But…there’s more to that, namely:
Misconception: If the work doesn’t manifest almost instantly, - or by a brief period of time under 4 weeks, - and in a way which has a complete absence of false negatives, it’s a scam and no one did the work or a failure as in the spell failed.
Oh my sweet, sweet summer child, wouldn’t it be nice if all things in life including spiritual work gave you a nice exact time line with exact benchmarks and nothing scary, and also rewarded you with instant gratification like ordering off of Amazon?! It sure would!
But most things in life aren’t instant, sorry to break that news to someone who was raised in an age where being bored is practically a crime and who has become acclimated to a world where most things are rewarded to you with little effort. Much like that meat sack your soul lives in hasnt rapidly adapted to the modern world (which is why so many of us are fat,) real magic has not adapted to instantly manifest for you like you’re living in a Harry Potter movie/book. This has been made even worse for legitimate practitioners who have worked decades as authors, educators, and even for-hire, to deal with a new generation who instantly becomes indignant when a spell isn’t instantly manifested.
I have absolutely no qualms with being the most unpopular girl in the room, though, so the REALITY is: Magic uses the path of least resistance to manifest and it will take as long as it needs to take to manifest.
Read that again.
Because what I am saying is there may be some nasty stuff ahead, even if you’d not intended it, and you might wait longer than a few weeks (and definitely probably more than a few days,) for your end result. And you may even lengthen said wait by acting against the work. People have even killed their own work, even yours truly who has cast spells longer than several of you have walked this earth (or breathed air, and before your parents even conceived you, lol,) because everyone who uses magic has been their own worst enemy at least once - if not several times.
Now we can deflect some of this. Yesterday, when I spoke of my friend who had his home burn down, I’d he had added the stipulation that said money be received without damage to humans, animals, or property, he would have likely not have experienced the “oh shit” moment when handed the insurance check. HOWEVER, the more of these caveats or attempts to control how a thing manifests are added, the harder it becomes to manifest the spell. So if you tell me it must manifest exactly in such and such a method from point a to point b, I will te you that you are being unrealistic and probably that I can’t help. BUT when we ask for more money it is wise to stipulate we don’t want relatives to die or to receive a large insurance check. 😉
But if you think you can dictate the work down to almost having control on how it manifests (remember, you merely get the end result, not control over how and why it comes about, (though you can make A FEW exceptions to what may NOT happen,) and if you need this much control, you actually need to do more spells. For example, let’s say you want your ex back. You say: this person must fall deeply in love with me (one spell,) profess this love to others (another spell,) be incapable of orgasm except with me (another spell,) be rejected by all men/women who aren’t me (another spell,) feel all the pain they caused they caused me (another spell,) and of course return to me (and another spell.) I dare say, that’s a lot of work. Would you like your ex back and maybe gushy and full of love? Cuz I could do that with a lot less work. 😂 But, I get these ten page missives from people all of the time containing even more steps they feel need to be taken to have all they want.
Don’t forget that after that ten page missive I’ll get: “And what’s the time frame?” As long as it takes to manifest. But let’s touch on that in a bit.
I want you to think, what is the core of what you want? We need to simplify. Now ask yourself is there something that would completely override my desire in having this goal and how likely is that to happen? Chances are that death and disaster and loss of property are very unlikely to happen in most requests but unless you are cursing another you might add that no physical harm come to person, animal or property. But remember the more “stops” you need to make from point a to point b, the longer journey is, so stop trying to dictate how or why a thing manifests, and draw to you the core thing you want.
If you lack adaptability, and if you see even trivial setbacks as absolute impeding doom, do not use magic at all. Because I’ve cast spells for over thirty years and experienced these seemingly negative events in my own personal work, and they are not as uncommon as one would hope. I’ve told the story before, but I was once in court (civil court, right around my divorce,) years ago and a hysterical client kept blowing up my phone so that even though it was on vibrate the judge called a recess while I’m on the stand because a client’s ex whom she’d been broken up with for months was, according to her friend, seeing other people. Keep in mind, he did come back, but she was so hysterical that someone she broke up with months before had the audacity to go in a date with another woman that she literally disrupted an entire court proceeding when I’d told her I’d be in court that day. She was someone who should never use magic. That level of hysterics was next level. And he did come back. In fact, dating other women made him realize he only had that connection with her and it was a few weeks later he came back to her. But, if you are so fragile you won’t be able to withstand trivial negative movement like that in a reconciliation case, you should not use magic…because reconciliation work is hard. It requires emotional stability, and calmness of the mind, and sometimes withstanding a few unpleasant things you will go through on the journey.
So I think we have covered that our expectations must fall on receiving the desired END result, and that unexpected or even unpleasant things may happen during the manifestation phase, but what of time frames?
”When will this start working?” is, in fact, a sign you are dealing with someone who has zero understanding of magic. It starts to work immediately, and that you don’t understand that fully manifested is well past the point of when it STARTS working is very telling. Because, remember, as we discussed, that magic is taking the path of least resistance BUT changing someone’s mind or altering the course already set isn’t like flipping a switch. Changes start with much smaller shifts to the currents than we can fathom, and then build to the desired outcome. A fair number of spells manifest in four weeks or less…maybe even 60-65% - and even more will have manifested in 6-8 weeks. Yes there are some that take longer. This isn’t implicative of failure inasmuch as it is implicative of the amount of changes required to create the end result. The number of spells that manifest fully over night are not a large percentile.
And anyone who assumes a fail by date is a good idea is drawing failure and no manifestation by creating that date. You literally manifested something not happening by that date - because you sent out the message to the universe that you wanted to fail on that date (or else that’s my understanding, and the amount of people who have come to me a few days after they “reported” to be that all had failed as it didn’t happen by [specific time frame they chose,] isn’t small.)
So how can you try to be more realistic in when you start to notice the spell working? Will you notice the spell working? Again we run into another wall… overthinker-types hate this - maybe, but you might be projecting something as relating to your spell and just have confirmation bias.
I need one of these here 😬
Yep, unfortunately, if we are very attached to our situations we are working on, we aren’t really great at avoiding projecting our hopes and fears onto the events we see vs objectively observing the situation. Think if it a bit like intense hypochondria except here it’s magic working or not working and not sickness. And even experts do this from time to time with their own work.
Do now you’re probably like “Let me get this shit straight- I can’t dictate how or why something manifests without impeding or even slowing manifestation, so I want to have as little as possible input on how or why a thing happens (just accepting that I put in the order to have it so it will come) so I get the end result, which the result will probably come in less than say six weeks but could take longer!? And during that time, shit I might totally be scared of happening might happen, and I can’t trust that anything that seems like positive movement or negative movement is even movement!?” 🤨
Yeah kinda. 😬
See, as you become more acclimated to using magIc,it’s easier to tell what is signs of the work manifesting but when you’re anxious and freaked out as a lot of people are by their situations when they are first using spell work there’s a fair chance you are going to project false negatives or positives. It’s best for the novice spellcaster or the petitioner paying a for hire spellcaster to remain calm and try to keep their mind in the present rather than future or past. And keep in mind, much of the time you will see results in 28 days or less, (probably about half the time or more,) so when someone offers you a ballpark figure for when you should start seeing results, be cautious if they say in a week because those are the people preying on anxious desperate souls (and not real spellcasters) more often than not…but all magic is working from the moment you’re done casting. Let it do it’s work, don’t expect visible results overnight and realize the path from point a (the spell is cast) to point b (it manifests), may contain some unexpected twists and turns along the way, - and just be patient. What you want is coming to you and acting like a cracked out squirrel if it doesn’t happen in a few days will just make it take even longer. But what you want is coming and if you want it so much, waiting a few weeks isn’t long to wait at all.
